| | Welcome to the website. John Wiley, the publisher, has brought out a new edition of Supermoney, as part of its "investment classics" series, with a new preface by John Bogle, the founder of Vanguard. Supermoney was the Adam Smith book that introduced Warren Buffett to the world, and a new Buffett chapter leads off this edition. Warren was good enough to provide a new quote for the book, which is on the front cover: "In this book, Adam Smith says I like baseball metaphors. He's right. So I will just describe this book as the equivlaent of the performance of Don Larsen on October 8, 1956. For the uninitiated, that was the day he pitched the only perfect game in World Series history." We appreciate the metaphor, but this book is about money, and psychology, and crowds--and only about baseball in the metaphors.
